With Pro Kabaddi Season 7 auctions scheduled on 7th and 8th April speculations are doing the round on retentions of players by franchise. In the season 6 auctions Haryana Steelers looking for a raider desperately bought Monu Goyat at a whopping 151 lakhs and Monu Goyat turned out to be the most expensive player in the history of Pro Kabaddi but failed to impress. Harayan Steelers may come up with the season 6 strategy and release all the players except Vikash Khandola and Kuldeep but they need to spend wisely in auctions
Vikas Khandola was brilliant in the last 3 tournaments he played outside PKL, Railways interzone, Senior Nationals, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay. In Pro Kabaddi Season 6, Vikash Khandola played 22 matches, scored 177 points with the average of 7.81 points per match in 347 raids. In the season 6 auctions Haryana Steelers RTM him at 47 lakhs and it is likely this time they will retain him.
In defense likely retention is Kuldeep Singh, he played 22 matches, scored 49 points, with average of 2.04 in 105 tackle attempts. In season 6 Haryana Steelers retained Kuldeep Singh at 10.34 lakhs and with 10-12% increment at 12-14 lakhs Kuldeep will be valuable.
