Ankush and Gaurav Khatri’s PKL Records and Statistics

The 10th season of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) saw the rise of several young talents. But the two standout performers were Ankush and Gaurav Khatri. Both players, in only their second season, played a crucial role for their respective teams, Jaipur Pink Panthers and Puneri Paltan.

Gaurav Khatri was a standout for the defending champions, Puneri Paltan. He played every single match of the season, consistently contributing to the team's defense. His impressive performance earned him a total of 72 points. On the other side, Ankush continued to shine for the Jaipur Pink Panthers, he was the best defender of the team with a total of 70 points.

Both teams had strong raiding units, which meant Ankush and Gaurav could focus primarily on defense. However, their contributions were crucial in easing the pressure on their raiders and allowing them to perform freely.

Gaurav displayed remarkable maturity for a player in his second season. He successfully tackled opponents 67 times out of 113 attempts, resulting in a tackle success rate of 59%. His defensive mastery was further highlighted by 2 Super Tackles and 4 High 5s.

Ankush, the left corner for Jaipur Pink Panthers, also impressed with his defensive abilities. He made 63 successful tackles out of 120 attempts, resulting in a tackle success rate of 52%. His consistency and reliability can be seen in his 7 Super Tackles and 8 High 5s throughout the season.

While the defense was their primary focus, Gaurav did venture into the attacking half twice, managing to score a bonus point and a touchpoint. Ankush, on the other hand, concentrated solely on defense.

The performances of Ankush and Gaurav Khatri in PKL Season 10 have established them as promising young defenders. Their consistent contributions to their respective teams' defenses make them players to watch out for in future seasons.

With their talent and dedication, both players have the potential to become cornerstones of their teams' defensive units and play a significant role in the league for years to come.
