If you talk about sports in Kerala, football is widely famous. But district of Kasaragod is famous for their Kabaddi boys.

Shri Jagadeesh Kumble is the only Asian Games gold medalist in Kerala and he belongs to village Kumble in Kasaragod.

Many Prokabddi players, army teams are regular to his academy. He trains the seniors  as well as kids below 14.

The academy doesn't have hostel facility, outstation players takes care of accommodation and food on their own.
