ooh, thats heartbreaking. Ajit did all the hardwork, all game long to bring umumba back into the game and then to take them ahead, but just when it mattered he couldn't get across the line. The Thalaivas were playing a high line of defense. Ajit did not do enough.. just made two half bonus attempts and as he thinks of moving across mohit from the left covers moves in and blocks him completely.
Very good awareness by mohit, put in the tackle early, put in the unexpected tackle.
Tamil had a plan today.
Surjeet neutralized abhishek, and then in this raid Surjeet was in the right in position to make sure that ajit doesn't even think about the bonus.
Fantastic team effort from the thalaivas. They are looking a much better team this season than any of their previous three seasons. These are still early days and maintaining intensity over such a long tournament is just not easy for teams.
