The 47th Inter Services Kabaddi Championship concluded on earlier today (6th April 2021) at Delhi Air force station. The tournament began on 3rd April and had 4 teams like usual participating- Red Army, Green Army, Air Force and Indian Navy  The 4 teams ware divided to 2 pools who played each other once in league stage which was followed by the Semis and the finals. Red Army won the 47th Inter Services Kabaddi Championship as they beat the defending champions Indian Airforce in the final. This tournament is the selection tournament where the Services team will be selected to play at the 68th Senior National Kabaddi Championship in Ayodhya. Like always the Inter Services tournament featured big stars of Indian Kabaddi in the likes of Naveen Kumar, Nitin Tomar, Surjeet Singh, Mahender Singh, Manjeet, Monu Goyat, Rohit Kumar among others.

The Final day saw two matches taking place- 3rd place match and the Grand Final. The 3rd place match saw Green Army going up against Indian Navy. It turned out to be one of the most exciting matches of the tournament. Green Army got the better of Indian Navy by just 1 point to secure 3rd place in the Inter Services Kabaddi Championship. 

The Final of the Inter Services Kabaddi Championship saw Red Army take on the defending champions Indian Air Force. Both teams had star studded players and it was a match to watch out for. It tuned out to be an great encounter as both teams had a lot of experience under their belt. It Red Army who stunned the defending champions Indian Air Force to secure a win in the final and become the champions of the 47th Inter Services Kabaddi Championship. The Red Army won the game by a margin of 7 points to keep Indian Air Force at bay. Red Army was line up that featured Arjun Deshwal, Manjeet, Jaideep, among others who got the better of Indian Air Force who had Naveen Kumar in their team.

47th Inter Services Kabaddi Championship turned to be an mouth watering tournament with big names featuring and this time there was a new winner in the likes of Red Army who beat the defending champions Indian Air Force in the final. The Services team will be a team to watch out for in the 68th Senior National Kabaddi Championship where the last year runners up will look to go one step ahead and win the title.
