The qualifying tournament for the first professional tournament for Junior Kabaddi players starts on Monday, 1st March 2021. It is a four-day-long tournament where Haryana's 16 top Kabaddi academies will fight it out for a place in the K7 Finals. Player age should be less than 21 years as on February 1st 2021 and under 75kgs.The 16 teams have been grouped into 4 pools, the winners and runners-up will seal their spot in the K7 Finals scheduled to happen in October 2021.

The K7 Qualifiers are set to happen in Khokhar Kabaddi Academy in Sonepat, Haryana where the nation’s finest young kabaddi players will suit up for their respective academy sides and battle it out in the nation’s first premier junior kabaddi competition.
The 16 teams are divided into 4 pools. Given the concerns around the pandemic, each pool will play all its matches in a round-robin format on a single day. The four-day competition will feature a total of 24 matches split into 4 pools (A-D). Each day will feature just 6 matches from morning 10 AM to evening 8.30 PM. The winner and runner-up of each pool will make it to the K7 Finals. Winners of each group will take home a cash prize of Rs 26000 and runners-up of each group will take home Rs 13000 for the day's efforts. Best Raider, Best Defender and Best All-Rounder from each group will take a cash prize of Rs 5000 each.
