Player of the Day – Ajay Thakur (12 points), Prokabaddi Season 6, Match 30 – Puneri Paltan Vs. Tamil Thalaivasuneri Paltan Vs. Tamil Thalaivas

Ajay Thakur led the way for the Tamil Thalaivas with 12 raid points as the Thalaivas ended their string of losses with a convincing 36-31 win against the hosts at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune.

The skipper of the Thalaivas was in his element right from the beginning as he kept chipping away with the points to ensure that Pune was under the pump. Such was his style that it rubbed off on the rest of the raiders as Jasvir Singh (8 points) and Sukesh Hegde (4 points) also took a leaf out of Thakur’s books and put on a good show.

Faced with an uphill task of warding off a five-match losing streak, the Thalaivas appeared a confident unit from the start and came together when it mattered, for which they have their skipper Ajay Thakur to thank.
