Anna's season 5th stint was with Puneri Paltan his 2nd home. Under Anna's influence Girish's confidence grew leaps and bounds. From a bleak 25 points season 4 with Bengal Warriors, Girish exploded scoring 69 points in season 5 with Puneri Paltan.
Story continued in the season 6. Sunrinder Singh scored 58 points in PKL 5 and just 4 more, 2 points in PKL 6. However his strike rate has increased from 38% to 48%. Surinder is now putting fewer tackles, taking lesser risks but scoring as many points.
