A pumped up Manjeet Chhillar produced a spectacular display of fearless defending as his 8-point effort lifted the Tamil Thalaivas to their third win of the season, a commanding 46-24 win over the hosts UP Yoddha in Greater Noida, UP.

For the Thalaivas, Sukesh Hegde started off in fine fashion as he picked nine points in the first half, including a stunning super raid that wiped out the UP defenders and resulted in an all-out. However, post the first half, the story belonged to Manjeet Chhillar, who held fort to stop the UP raiders in their tracks.

With a mix of vicious ankle holds and colossal blocks, the veteran all-rounder was a force to reckon with as he finished with eight tackle points from 14 tackles and was a major driving force in the Thalaivas’ decimation of the hosts.
