Young Abhishek Singh led the way for U Mumba with an all-round effort to pick 12 points as U Mumba cruised to a dominating 48-24 win over the Jaipur Pink Panthers in the former’s first home match at the NSCI Indoor Stadium in Mumbai.

Thrust with donning the role of the lead raider in the continued absence of Siddharth Desai, Abhishek Singh was in his element right from the first minute as he posed a stiff challenge to the Panthers defence, which looked all at sea against the prolific U Mumba raiders.

Apart from picking his first ever ‘Super 10’, Singh also contributed with two vital dashes as he kept the threat of Deepak Hooda at bay. In the end, Abhishek Singh was the man of the moment as he kept U Mumba in the hunt for a massive win at the final whistle.
