Rohit Gulia started the raid, and scored a point while Chandran Ranjan also got a point in his first raid, Dabang Delhi defense was not impressive as Vishal Mane started with unsuccessful tackle in the 2nd minute and Rohit Gulia scored a 3 point super raid in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute we saw a brilliant kick by Dong Geon Lee, which sent the hawk Ravindra Pahal on the bench. Gujarat Fortunegiants inflicted the 1st alloout in the 6th minute, and in the 7th minute Dabang Delhi were trailing by 10 points, 13-3
In the 9th minute Chandran Ranjeet scored a point and Dabang Delhi raiders including Pawan Kadian who came as substitute accelerated the pace and Dabang Delhi inflicted the 1st all-out in the 15th minute and still Gujarat Fortunegiants were leading by 3 points, 15-18 further Dong Geon Lee did the damage with his 2 points raid in the 16th minute, and in the 18th minute we saw a brilliant back hold by Parvesh Bhaiswal which sent Naveen on the bench. Gujarat Fortunegiants inflicted the 2nd all-out in the 20th minute and at the stroke of half time score was, 27-18.
In the 2nd half first 10 minutes it was a seesaw battle as Dabang Delhi raiders were getting points but the super tackle by Gujarat Fortunegiants in the 25th and 27th minute kept them in lead, while Dabang Delhi inflicted the 2nd all-out in the 30th minute. Dong Geong Lee was impressive and scored his first ever PKL super 10 in the 33rd minute.
Pawan Kadian scored 2 points in the 35th minute and there was a chance to inflict all-out by Dabang Delhi in the mean time Gujarat Fortunegiants defenders showed up and in the 37th minute super tackle by Sachin Vithhala became the reason Dabang Delhi could not made a come-back, and Gujarat Fortunegiants registered a comfortable win.
