Jaipur Pink Panthers held UMumba to a draw in the 2nd day of their home leg. Jaipur was high on confidence after decimating the Puneri Paltan in the previous match.
The match started in the favour of UMumba as they quickly managed a slender lead of 3 - 1, which rose to a lead of 11 - 5 within the first 10 minutes of the match. The lead was cut short by a Super Raid by Amit Kumar. By the time we hit halftime, UMumba were leading 14 - 12.
In the second half, the Pink Panthers came with a bang, with Deepak Niwas Hooda, scoring 4 points in a raid. Within the next 10 minutes, the Pink Panthers had managed to get to a score of 27 - 19, with UMumba trialing.
In the end it was Siddharth Desai's sublime raiding that got UMumba out of the deep hole and managed to end the match in a tie.
For UMumba, Siddharth Desai was the best raider with 14 raid points in 19 attempts, while Rohit Rana was the best defender with 5 points off 10 attempts.
For the Pink Panthers, Deepak Niwas Hooda, was the best raider with 11 points off 23 raid attempts, while Amit Kumar was the best defender with 6 points.
