Match 11 between Bhaini School and Khokhar Kabaddi Academy in the K7 Kabaddi Stage UP 2021 was a one sided affair as Bhaini hammers Khokhar Academy by 50-19. Facing each other for second time in 2 days, Khokhar Academy wanted to make the opportunity count and beat Bhaini this time, but Bhaini completely outclassed them with their sore performance. Starting in the first half, leading raider of the tournament, Meetu again started in the same way as he is been doing by scoring points but in an attempt of a super raid, he had to leave the mat due to injury which could had been an opportunity for Khokhar Academy to make a comeback. But then the skipper, Mohit Goyat, who was playing a role of support raider in the tournament so far took the opportunity to show how much damage he can also make by scoring 7 raid points in the first half. Misfiring defence of Bhaini School also came back in this game to action where left corner Sachin scored 4 points and getting a good support by other defenders.
Khokhar Academy’s main raider and captain, Mohit couldn’t repeat his last match’s performance and struggled to score points. With other players also not scoring, Khokhar Academy got all-out multiple times which made it difficult for them to match the Bhaini’s score. Lead for them looked almost impossible in the first half itself. First half ended with the score of 8-23.
Khokhar Academy came into the second half with few changes in the team by bringing right cover Ashish Kumar and raider Ankit Baljeet. Kismat Singh coming as a replacement for Meetu was sent into a do-or-die raid and scored a 4 point super raid in first 5 minutes of the 2nd half which inflected another all-out for Khokhar Academy. Skipper Mohit Goyat looked unstoppable and scored a super 10 in the 30th minute of the game. Bhaini School’s raiders were showing performances in the previous matches, but defence was the place where the team lacked. But the defence of Bhaini School made a good impact in this game where Sachin Suresh scored a high 5.
Khokhar Academy struggled with defence and scored just 5 tackle points in the whole match where substitute Ashish Kumar scored 3. Only positive for them was their raider Mandeep who scored 7 raid points including 3 bonuses. Bhaini School’s Mohit Goyat scored a total of 15 raid points and lead his team to a dominant win. With Meetu going out of the match due to an injury, other players of Bhaini School came forward and dominated to win by a big margin.
With Khokhar Kabaddi Academy playing 5 matches, they are still looking for their first win whereas Bhaini School has won 3 out of their 5 matches taking them to a comfortable position in the points table.
