Maharashtra State Kabaddi Association has announced the schedule for the upcoming state championships. All three levels of Seniors, Juniors and Sub-juniors will take place across March-April 2021. The tournaments will be held simultaneously for men and women. The schedule was decided at a meeting chaired by Maharashtra State Kabaddi Association MP Gajanan Kirtikar.
1. 5-8th March 2021 : 32nd Sub-Junior State Championship will be held in Jalgaon. Players must be born after March 31, 2005 for the sub-junior level.
2. 16-20th March 2021 : 47th Junior State Championship will be held in Sangli. Players must be born after March 31, 2001 for the sub-junior level.
3. 1-4th April 2021 : 68th Senior State Championship will be held in Sinnar, Nasik.

Maharashtra will try to improve their standing in Senior Nationals after losing to Rajasthan in quarter-finals in Jaipur last year. Pankaj Mohite played as the lead raider in the absence of Rishank Devadiga. Maharashtra will look to replicate its brilliant win the 65th Senior Nationals in 2018 held in Hyderabad.
