The Delhi High Court has raised serious questions on the selection of the Indian kabaddi team for the 18th Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia. The Court has ordered the “selection trials” on September 15 to review the ability of the players, who will be representing the country in Asian Games 2018.
The Court has passed the order on the petition of Arjuna Awardees C Honnappa Gowda and Rajanathnam, who had filed a petition in the Supreme Court of India. They had claimed that the selection process was “an eyewash”.
