Pawan Sehrawat's brilliant performance in the second half led his team to victory. Bengaluru Bulls won the toss and choose court. It remained a tight game in first 10 minutes with lead switching side.
In the 13th minute a brilliant back hold be Sachin Vittala brought Gujarat Fortunegiants back in the lead and they were able to hold the lead till the half time. Gujarat Fortunegiants inflicted the 1st all-out in the 19th minute and took 7 points lead. Bengaluru Bulls scored 6 raid points in the first half and Gujarat Fortunegiants 7, while Giants scored 5 tackle points and Bulls scored 5.
In the second half, Bengaluru Bulls made a come-back and could not score a point in the first 4 minutes. In the first 10 minutes of the first half Bengaluru Bulls scored 10 points and it was Pawan Sehrawat who pulled out the game with his brilliant show, out of his total 22 raid points, Pawan Sehrawat scored 18 points in the second half.
Pawan Sehrawat's 2 points raid in the 30th and 31st minute was the turning point of the game. Bengaluru Bulls inflicted the 1st all-out in the 31st minute and Bulls took 1 point lead. Gulia took a point in the 32nd minute and score was leveled once again, 23-23. Rohit Gulia's 3 points raid in the 35th minute once again brought Gujarat Fortunegiants back in the game with 2 points slender lead. It was Pawan Sehrawat's brilliance in the last 5 minutes which tilted the game to Bengaluru Bulls side, he displayed the best of running hand touch skills. Bengaluru Bulls inflicted the 2nd all-out in the 39th minute which happened to be the last nail in the Gujarat Fortunegiants coffin. Hard luck for Gujarat Fortunegiants as they finished runners-up for the second season in a row.
