Argentina Kabaddi Association issued an circular citing the re-naming of its National Stadium in La Plata to ''Gehlot Stadium'', paying homage to the godfather of Kabaddi- Late Jarnardhan Singh Gehlot who breathed his last few days ago. The circular was issued by Argentina Kabaddi signed by Aldo Roman and Ricardo Alberto who are the Secretary and President of Argentina Kabaddi Association respectively. The letter also read, the contributions that Mr. Jarnardhan Singh Gehlot did to Argentina Kabaddi by trusting and supporting Kabaddi in Argentina to grow.

The letter further read- The Argentine Association of Kabaddi is a proud member of International Kabaddi Federation, Recognizing its authority as the sole and official governing entity of Kabaddi in the world. IKF America, has been in force since May 2020, and await instructions and news about the future of Kabaddi and seeking long awaited path of bringing Kabaddi to Olympic games. 

Janardhan Singh Gelhot who served as the President of Inter National Kabaddi Federation is known for its contributions in world Kabaddi for putting the sport in the world map. Janardhan Singh Gehlot was also the vice-president of the International Olympic Committee was very keen and working towards for introducing Kabaddi in the Olympics.
