Yuva Kabaddi Series KMP 2023 Promotion Zone : Ahmednagar proceed despite loss while Mumbai Shahar also go through to the play-offs!

Yuva Kabaddi Series 2023 KMP Promotion Zones have come to an end and all the teams have secured their spots for the play-offs. We have been able to witness a lot of breathtaking action and the competition will intensify further more during the business end of the season. 

Before we catch all the Play-offs action let's find out the result of the final day of Promotion Zones. 

Mumbai Shahar Vs Pune District 

First match of the final day of Promotion Zones saw Mumbai Shahar proceed to the next round following a 6 point win against Pune District. Mumbai Shahar raider Shardul Patil ran the show with his Super 10 as he ended the match with 14 raid points. Final score line at the end of full-time was 45-39. 

Nanded District Vs Mumbai Upnagar

Nanded squeezed through to the Play-offs on the final day as they buried Mumbai Upnagar to the ground. It was a massive win for Nanded by 20 odd points and it will fill them with plenty of confidence moving forward. 

Ajit Chavan, Nanded's main raider had a splendid outing as he amassed 17 raid points while Rushikesh Bhojane and Akshay Suryawanshi played the supporting role and shared 14 raid points between them. 

Thanks to their efforts, Nanded came out victorious by 47-27. 

Thane District Vs Ahmednagar District 

In the 3rd match, Thane District picked up a consolation win against table toppers Ahmednagar who finish Promotion Zones on top of the standings. It wasn't a high scoring match but it was a good performance by Thane as they won by a 10-point margin. 

Collective performances from Vignesh Chaudhari, Mangesh Sonawane, Chinmay Gaurav and Ahmad Inamdar accounted for 21 raid points. The final score line at full time was 31-21. 

Nashik District vs Kolhapur District

The final match of the promotion zone was a great contest between 2 capable teams who have proceeded to the play-offs regardless of today's result. Kolhapur won the match by a 10-point gap as their raider Nikhil barge ended up with 19 raid points. 

Nashik raider Shivkumar Borgode will be gutted to lose the match despite scoring 16 raid points in total. Final score line of this match was 36-46.
