Yuva Kabaddi Series 2023 : Mumbai Shahar crush Ratnagiri while Thane beat Nashik on Day 9 action!
On match day 9 of Yuva Kabaddi Series Inter District youth league, Group B action resumed with 4 mouth watering clashes.
Mumbai Shahar met Ratnagiri District for the first match of the 9th day in Yuva Kabaddi Series. in Pool B. Mumbai Shahar prevailed over their opponents by 45-26. The ninth day of the Yuva Kabaddi Series 2023 was an exciting one because of the individual performances we got to see.
Raj Acharya and Sahil Rane's fantastic performances broke the back of Ratnagiri's defense. Their raider Sahil Mane scored the highest points with 8 while Sairaj Kumbhar amassed 4 raid points.
Parbhani District and Dhule District
The second game was played between Parbhani District and Dhule District and the former team excelled by a 15-point gap and triumphed 38-23.
Parbhani raiders Prasad Rudraksh and Rahul Ghangde scored Super 10s and shared 24 raid points between them. While Dhule District's raiding department could not produce anything significant as Mitesh Kadam was their highest scoring raider.
Nandurbar District Himalayan Tahrs Vs Nanded District Chambal Challengers
The 3rd fixture saw Nandurbar District lose by a very thin margin of just 2 points. Although the game was evenly contested, Raiders had a better share of points won than the defenders. In total, 3 raiders were able to get to a Super 10 but none of the defenders were able to score a high 5.
Nandurbar's Omkar Gade and Tejas Khalbhor scored 11 raid points each but their defense did not back them. They had a clear lack of game awareness plus their tactical side looked even worse and were mentally weaker too.

Nashik District Dwarka Defenders Vs Thane District Hampi Heroes
The final match of Day 9 saw Thane thrash Nashik District by a heavy margin of 23 points. It was dominated by Thane right from the very first raid of the match. Their sheer control of the game did not let Nashik any chances for a comeback.
Thane raider Mangesh Sonawane scored a super 10 and 14 raid points to help his side win by 24-47.
