Yuva Kabaddi Series 2023 Inter Youth senior League Day 7: Palghar smash Sangli & Pune embarrass Latur District!

Pune District and Palghar District defeated Latur and Sangli district by a wide majority on Day 7 of the Yuva Kabaddi Series Inter District Youth League Pool A. It was yet another exciting day of Kabaddi action at Pune and the competition is intensifying with each passing day.

We will be swiftly going through match by match to assess how the all the 8 teams today fared in their encounters on Day 4. The first game of the day was between Pune District and Latur District, where the latter's raiders and defenders stomped the former from staging a comeback and eventually won the game 62-20 in Pune District's favor.

The 26th game of the competition, was contested between Ahmednagar District and Mumbai Upnagar. It was a closely contested match and the score line was eventually locked for a draw.

Ahmednagar's Prafull Zaware continued his fine form and earned a splendid Super 10 to end the match with 17 raid points. But he was not supported well enough as Mumbai's collective performance made it 37-37.

In the following match, Raigad and Kolhapur played out a breathtaking draw by a score of 33-33. Tejas Patil and Dadaso Pujari, the top raiders for Kolhapur's were responsible for scoring 22 raid points. Rutik Patil and Ajay More from the other side shared 16 raid points between them.

Finally, the day's final game between Sangli District and Palghar district was a top-notch contest in which the former won by a staggering margin of 54 points and picked up pace right from the beginning of the match. 

Palghar's raider Raj Salunkhe and Piyush Patil ran riots today and shared 35 raid points between them. The former amassed 25 raid points while the latter won 10 points. 

The eventual score line was 19-73.
