Sachin Tanwar To Grace the 33rd Sub Junior National Kabaddi Championship (Girls)
The opening ceremony of the 33rd Sub Junior National Kabaddi Championship (girls) will be held on Sunday, 31st December at 3:30 PM. This event will take place at the Patliputra Indoor Stadium, Kankarbagh, Patna, Bihar. The chief guest of this ceremony will be the President of Bihar State Kabaddi Federation, Anjani Kumar Singh.
However, the stage will also be graced with the dignified presence of Tejaswini Bai and Sachin Tanwar, who are well-known personalities in the Kabaddi fraternity.
Tejaswini Bai is the recipient of the Arjuna Award. She is also a 2-time Asian Games gold medalist and currently serves as the head coach of the Indian women's kabaddi team.
Sachin Tanwar won the coveted Gold medal in the Asian Games, which was held in Hangzhou, China last year. He is also the Captain of Patna Pirates (the Pro Kabaddi League team). He led Patna Pirates to the semifinal of PKL 10. However, due to an injury, he was benched and eventually, Patna lost the bout against Puneri Paltan.
The 33rd Sub-Junior National Kabaddi Championship (Girls) is being organized by the Bihar State Kabaddi Federation (BSKF) under the auspices of the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI).
The 33rd Sub Junior National Kabaddi Championship (Girls) is scheduled to start on March 31 and the final of this competition will be played on April 3rd, 2024. All the matches of this championship will be held at the Patliputra Sports Complex in Patna, Bihar.
Notably, BSKF also held the 33rd Sub-Junior National Kabaddi Championship for boys from March 16 to 19 in Motihari. These championships for boys and girls is a vital platform for young players to showcase their skills on a national stage. It also provides them the chance to compete against the best athletes of their age in the country, gain valuable experience, and potentially catch the eye of scouts and coaches.
In the 33rd Sub-Junior National Kabaddi Championship (Boys), Harayan won the Gold medal by defeating SAI in the final. Bihar and Andhra Pradesh won the bronze medal. So, who will emerge victorious in the girl's event? Only time will tell but one thing is for sure - this championship will be a treat to watch for every Kabaddi fan.
