Pro Kabaddi League 2023: Players Who Played With Multiple Teams in PKL

Pro Kabaddi League 2023 is just around the corner, starting 2 December 2023. The landmark 10th season of exhilarating has returned to its 12-cities caravan format. As we gear up for the PKL Season 10, it's the perfect time to take a closer look at some of the top players who have represented at least five different Pro Kabaddi teams in their journey.

Sandeep Narwal (6 Teams)

Sandeep Narwal, an all-rounder par excellence, has made his mark in the Pro Kabaddi League like no other. Beginning his journey with the Patna Pirates in the inaugural season, he played a pivotal role in their Season 3 championship win. Sandeep then embarked on a journey that took him through Telugu Titans, Puneri Paltan, U Mumba, Dabang Delhi K.C., and U.P. Yoddhas. With 156 matches under his belt, he has accumulated an impressive 645 points in his PKL career.

 

Prashanth Kumar Rai (6 Teams)

Prashanth Kumar Rai, a versatile raider, started his PKL journey with the Telugu Titans and stayed with them for two seasons. His career path meandered through Dabang Delhi K.C., Haryana Steelers, U.P. Yoddhas, Patna Pirates, and finally, the Gujarat Giants in Season 9, where he also had the honor of captaining the side. His total raid points currently stand at 500.

K. Prapanjan (6 Teams)

K. Prapanjan is yet another raider who has showcased his skills in multiple PKL teams. He began with U Mumba in Season 2 and continued his stint with the team in Season 3. Following that, he donned the colors of Telugu Titans, Tamil Thalaivas, Gujarat Giants, and Bengal Warriors before returning to the Tamil Thalaivas in Season 8. Season 9 saw him as part of the Haryana Steelers' squad, where he's been retained as an Elite Retained Player (ERP) for Season 10. Prapanjan has garnered 427 raid points in his 103 PKL matches.

Surjeet Singh (5 Teams)

Surjeet Singh, a stalwart in the right cover position, has lent his expertise to 5 different PKL teams. Starting with Puneri Paltan in Season 3, he then ventured to U Mumba, Bengal Warriors, Puneri Paltan (once again), and Tamil Thalaivas. His return to Puneri Paltan marked a homecoming, while his solid defensive skills have earned him a place among the top five defenders in the history of Pro Kabaddi, boasting an impressive 348 tackle points.

 

Ravinder Pahal (5 Teams)

Ravinder Pahal, another tenacious defender, made his debut with Dabang Delhi K.C. and continued with the team for two more seasons. He then switched loyalties, representing Puneri Paltan, Bengaluru Bulls, and Dabang Delhi K.C. once more. His journey took a new turn when he joined the Gujarat Giants in Season 8 and later featured for Telugu Titans in Season 9. Pahal currently holds the sixth position on the list of all-time top tacklers in Pro Kabaddi, with 339 tackle points to his name.

As we approach the PKL Season 10, the versatility and adaptability of these players are not just commendable but also indicative of the dynamic nature of the Pro Kabaddi League. Each one has etched their own unique story in the history of the league.
