PKL 2024: Bengaluru Bulls probable playing 7 for championship run in PKL 11

The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season 11 is about to begin on October 18. Every team has completed their squad and preparing hard to win the title. Bengaluru Bulls is one such team who is looking to win their second PKL title. They have acquired some of the best talent from the PKL 11 player auction.

Bengaluru Bulls is the only franchise in PKL history who hasn’t changed their head coach since season 1. The Bengaluru-based franchise has trusted Randhir Singh Sehrawat with the responsibility of head coach. Under his guidance, the franchise has retained its captain, Saurabh Nandal, for the PKL 11.

In the previous season (PKL 10), Saurabh Nandal played 21 matches and earned 49 tackle points. He has been associated with the Bulls since PKL season 7 and now become an integral part of the team. Overall he has played 92 matches and has 246 tackle points to his name, including 11 High 5s. In PKL 11, he will hold the right-corner position in defence.

Bulls do not have any experienced left-corner defender in their squad, nor do they have any experienced right-cover and left-cover defender. The responsibility of left corner position will be on Nitin Rawal and Aditya Powar. Although, Nitin Rawal is an all-rounder but he is an experienced campaigner and has a total of 94 tackle points and 142 raid points in 81 matches.

Meanwhile, the right-cover position will be taken care by P. Subramaniam and Parteek will be responsible for the left-cover position. These four players will form the defence unit for the Bengaluru Bulls.

The raiding department of the Bulls will be taken care by Pardeep Narwal, Ajinkya Pawar, Akshit, and Sushil. Bulls do have other raiders too in their squad but these four will be the frontline raiders. 

‘Dubki King’ Pardeep Narwal is one the fierce raiders in the history of PKL. He has the most number of raid points (1690) to his name. Bengaluru Bulls head coach Randhir Sehrawat bought the ‘Dubki King’ for 80 Lakhs rupees. Pardeep Narwal debuted in PKL with the Bulls in season 2, and now PKL 11 will serve as a reunion platform for the Bulls and Pardeep.

Ajinkya Pawar is another seasoned campaigner brought for ₹1.1075 crores rupees. Ajinkya started his career with Jaipur Pink Panthers in PKL 6. He stayed there in PKL 7 too. Then he moved to Tamil Thalaivas in PKL 8 and has been there as an integral part of the team till PKL 10. In his overall career, he has 454 raid points in 92 matches.

On the other hand, Akshit and Sushil are still young raiders of the team. Sushil has experience of only 2 seasons, whereas Akshit has played only the previous season. However, Akshit has impressed everyone with his skills and talent, he scored 61 raid point in 10 matches, including 1 Super 10 and 2 Super Raids.
