PKL 11: 3 Things which didn't work for Bengaluru Bulls so far in Marquee Event

The Pro Kabaddi League Season 11 has reached its concluding stage in Pune, where the same venue will host the playoffs.

On 29th December 2024, the tournament will culminate with one team emerging as the champion.

In this article, we delve into three critical reasons that led to Bengaluru Bulls losing momentum and eventually bowing out of the tournament

.1.  Insufficient Backing for Pardeep Narwal:  Pardeep Narwal, despite showcasing his talent by scoring 16 points in the third match, was surprisingly rested in the subsequent game and saw limited game time thereafter.

This decision to sideline one of their key players significantly impacted the team’s performance.

Pardeep’s skills, especially his signature dubki move, seemed predictable, but a stronger backing from the management might have turned the tide in their favor.

2. Tactical Inconsistencies from the Coach Several tactical lapses :

Coach Randhir Sehrawat were evident during the season. For instance, while substitute raider Pankaj was given opportunities in certain matches, the same level of consistency in player rotations was not maintained in subsequent games.

Such inconsistencies likely disrupted team dynamics at critical moments.

3. Key Player Departures:  The decision to let go of prominent raiders and defenders from the previous season—such as Bharat Hooda and Surjeet Narwal—seems to have backfired.

Bengaluru Bulls’ raid and defensive setups lacked the depth and firepower they once possessed, raising questions about their team-building strategy.

As the league approaches its grand finale, Bengaluru Bulls will need to reflect on these aspects and address them in the next season to reclaim their competitive edge.
