PKL 10: Predicted starting 7 of U Mumba ahead of clash against Puneri Paltan tonight

Season 2 Champions U Mumba kicked off their campaign with a 34-31 win over the UP Yoddhas on matchday 1 of Pro Kabaddi League season 10. Amirmohammad Zafardanesh, Rinku Narwal and Guman Singh led from the front to give U Mumba a perfect start to their campaign. 

However, in the following match against Gujarat Giants, the boys from Mumbai lost by a 2-point gap to a score line of 39-37. Guman and Zafardanesh scored 10 points each while Mahender Singh scored 5 points but it just wasn't enough. 

Tonight they are all set to take the mat for Pro Kabaddi League season 10's first Maharashtra Derby. Here is the Playing 7 for U Mumba for their clash against Puneri Paltan. 

1. Guman Singh (Centre Raider) - The Punjab born raider started as the main raider for U Mumba in both of their first two matches against UP and Jaipur. He was a little quiet in the first match, scoring 2 touch points and 3 Bonus points. In the 2nd match, Guman scored an emphatic Super 10 and tonight a lot will depend upon his performance. 

2. Surinder Singh (Right Cover) - Captain and Right Cover Surinder Singh did not have the best of starts in Pro Kabaddi League 10, accumulating as much as only 3 points from the first 2 matches. Today, he will be hoping to improve his performance. 

3. Mahender Singh (Left Cover) - Himachal Pradesh born left cover Mahender Singh will be deployed as the Left cover tonight. In U Mumba's first match, he scored 2 tackle points and in the following encounter against Gujarat, Mahender scored a High 5.  

4. Amirmohammad Zafardanesh (Right In) - The Iranian All-Rounder has been a great revelation in PKL 10 until now. He has become U Mumba's highest scoring player already with 22 points to his name. As the Right in, Zafardanesh will have a lot to do both Raiding and defending wise.   

5. Pranay Rane (Left In) - Left In Raider Pranay Rane has been with U Mumba since last season. He scored 25 raid points in Season 9 and he has scored 6 raid points in their first 2 matches. 

6. Rinku Narwal (Right Corner) - In his very first match of the season, Rinku Narwal scored an easy High 5 but he could not get a single point against Gujarat. Tonight he will be aiming to improve his performance from last match.  

7. Girish Maruti Ernaik (Left Corner) - In the left corner, Girish Maruti Ernaik will once again have the onus to perform well. His current form is not really good, scoring only 1 tackle point in 2 games. 

U Mumba will go head to head against Puneri Paltan later tonight from 9:00 PM onwards.
