PKL 10: Haryana Steelers Predicted Playing 7 Against Gujarat Giants

The Haryana Steelers, who have yet to win a PKL trophy and placed seventh in the standings the previous season, just missing out on a playoffs berth, have undergone a dramatic makeover. The management assembled a formidable, competitive side for the auction, spending an incredible INR 4.766 crore.

The Haryana Steelers are currently in the 4th position in the standings with three wins and a huge loss out of 4 matches. They have 15 points on the board and have a score difference of -17 which they would like to improve soon in the tournament. Their fifth match of the season is going to be against the Gujarat Giants on December 19 at Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Pune and below is their predicted team for that match:

1. Center: Siddharth Desai

Siddharth Desai, the Bahubali of the Kabaddi mat, has once again found a new team in the competition. The Haryana Steelers paid INR 1 crore for him, and he will be expected to head the team's raiding unit. With just 23 raid points in 4 games this season, Desai has not been at his best.

2. Left Cover: Jaideep Dahiya

After having an outstanding season 9 in the PKL, Category A defender Jaideep was kept on by the team. The team's captain, Jaideep, also scored four vital tackle points in the most recent game, which was a big factor in his team's victory.

3. Right Cover: Mohit Nandal

Another defender that the Haryana Steelers management decided to keep is Mohit Nandal. As the right cover guy, he collected 44 tackle points last season and formed an incredible and lethal tandem with Jaideep. In the prior game, he was only able to score one point.

4. Left Corner: Mohit

Mohit was bought by the Haryana Steelers team for a sum of INR 20 lakh but he has not impressed very much till now in PKL 10. He was unable to score any tackle points in the last match.

5. Right Corner: Rahul Sethpal

Rahul Sethpal, a recent addition to the Haryana Steelers team, will cover the right corner position. At the auction, he was one of the players who made substantial money, having been purchased for INR 40.70 lakh. Sethpal scored six tackle points in the match against Puneri Paltan.

6. Left In: Ashish

Ashish, a young raider, will be playing in the left in position as a support raider. Ashish played well in the last match as he scored five points.

7. Right In: Vinay

Vinay, another exciting raider in the Haryana camp, will be playing this match for the team. Vinay has been brilliant this season as he scored fifteen raid points in the last match that he played.
