Every Team Detail To Participate in Asian Kabaddi Championship 2023
Asian Kabaddi Championship 2023 begins from June 27 onwards at Busan, South Korea. This 3 day event will feature Asia's best Kabaddi players with every team hoping to showcase their best performance in their quest for the gold medal.
The Asian Kabaddi Championship is taking place after a break of almost 6 years. Its previous edition took place in 2017 at Gorgan, Iran with India becoming champions of Asia for the 7th time in the history of the competition.
It will be fair to say that each of the participating teams will be determined to battle it out on the mat to overthrow the mighty Indian team. The Men in Blue have won each edition except for the 2003 edition at Malaysia.
During the first 2 editions at Kolkata and Jaipur, India defeated neighbors Bangladesh twice in a row. In year 2000 and 2001, India faced no competition whatsoever and they went on to increase their title count. Now in 2023 team India is looking even more lethal.
Players like Arjun Deshwal, Naveen Kumar and Pawan Sehrawat will be hungry to land a major trophy for India at the Asian Kabaddi Championship later this month. For a fact, India's only competition is Iran who are the only nation other than India to win the continental championship.
