Day 1 of the 11th Senior National Beach Kabaddi Championship

The sands of Kalchakra Maidan in Bodh Gaya came alive today as the 11th Senior National Beach Kabaddi Championship kicked off with a bang. The three-day event, organized by the Bihar State Kabaddi Association under the guidance of the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India, promises to showcase the best of Indian beach kabaddi talent.

Men's Competition

The men’s category witnessed a thrilling start with 16 teams locked in intense battles. Maharashtra, displaying exceptional skill and strategy, emerged victorious in their opening match against Delhi. As the day progressed, the remaining teams in Pools A, B, C, and D fought tooth and nail to secure their positions for the knockout stages.

Women's Competition

The women's competition also got off to a riveting start with 14 teams vying for the title. Haryana made a strong statement by defeating Andhra Pradesh in their first match. The other teams in Pools A, B, C, and D displayed immense potential and showcased their mastery on the sandy arena.

The unique challenges posed by the sandy terrain add more excitement to the matches. Players showed exceptional speed, balance, and stamina as they raced and tackled their opponents. The fast-paced nature of the game kept the spectators on the edge of their seats throughout the day.
