The Khelo India Youth Games 2020 Kabaddi final matches will be played on the 13th of January 2020 at the Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education complex in Sonapur, Assam. Two teams from each of the four categories will now play the gold medal match on Monday. The Khelo India Youth Games 2020 Kabaddi Medals ceremony will be held once all the matches are done.

On Sunday, a total of 12 teams played the semifinals match in four categories: Boys Under-17, Girls U-17, Boys U-21, and Girls U-21. In what was common all the categories that a team from Haryana was playing their match to seal a place in the finals. Not only that, all the four teams from Haryana won their respective matches and moved to the finals.

The semifinal action started with a match between Haryana and Bihar in the Boys U-17 category. In what turned out to be a one-sided affair, the Haryana team dominated completely and won the match 59-23. The second semifinals saw a tough fight between Maharashtra and Rajasthan, with the latter coming up as the winner. Rajasthan won the match 55-51. Haryana and Rajasthan will battle it out in the finals.

In the girls' U-17 matches, Haryana again showed clear dominance as they went on to defeat Chhattisgarh 52-21 in the first semifinal match. Tamil Nadu then beat Bihar 32-16 to face Haryana in the finals.

It was an easy win for Maharashtra in the Boys U-21 category against Uttar Pradesh. The western state won the match 38-20 to become the first team to qualify for the finals in their group. Haryana faced a tough fight from Chandigarh in the second semifinals match. In a nail-biting finish, Haryana defeated their neighbors 44-42 to set up a finals clash with Maharashtra.

Himachal Pradesh defeated Chhattisgarh in the first semifinal match of the Girls U-21 category. The Himachal girls won the match 34-28. Haryana had an easy win against Uttar Pradesh and won the match 41-16 to seal a place in the finals.
