Akshay Jadhav led team Sinhgad Haveli got their campaign off to a great start with a victory over Zunar Khed, where Akshay Jadhav scored 21 points on 18 July.
Playing the finals on 21st July Akshay Jadhav scored 15 points and helped the team defeat Mulshi to clinch the trophy. With 86 points in 5 matches Akshay Jadhav was declared player of the tournament.

The Pune Kabaddi league tournament was organized at Balewadi stadium, Pune, from 18th to21st July by corporater Baburao Chandre Saheb and Satej Sangh Baner on the occasion of Ajit Anantrao Pawar birthday. Total 8 teams participated in the tournament. The champions Singhad Haveli were awarded with 1 lakh 76 thousand cash prize and player of the tournament Akshay Jadhav was awarded a Splendor plus bike.
