Both the teams started the match going neck to neck on the scoreboard. However, Delhi seems to take a slow lead as they reduced the Steelers to just one man in the 11th minute of the match. Naveen, who came in as a substitute raider for the Steelers grabbed two points to save the team from an all-out. In the next raid by Delhi's Naveen Kumar, Vikal Kale managed to get him off the mat to get two points for a Super Tackle. As the first half was nearing its end, the Steelers upped their game as Vikas Khandola and Vinay got back to back successful raids. A tackle by Ravi Kumar on Chandran Ranjit meant the first all-out for the Dabangs. At the end of the first half, the Steelers were 21-13 ahead, taking a strong lead in the match.
The defensive unit of Delhi was in a poor shape as they only picked five tackle points against Haryana's 14

In the second half, Steelers' raiders and the defenders continued their strong show to increase their lead. A few silly errors from Delhi's top defenders Ravinder Pahal and Joginder Narwal added to Delhi's misery, helping Haryana score easy points. In the 31st minute of the game, Vikas Khandola inflicted second all-out on Delhi as he got out Joginder and Vijay in a single raid. The third all-out for Delhi came in the 37th minute with Vikas Kale tackling Aman Khaidan and also completing a High 5.
Naveen Kumar continued his fine form in the match and went on to score 11 points from 17 raids. However, he was tackled at regular intervals by the Haryana defenders and was not able to take his team to a winning position. Delhi remained in the backseat throughout the second half and faced their second loss of the season. Both Delhi and Haryana are still placed first and third respectively on the Pro Kabaddi Points Table.
