Hadi Oshtorak is an Iranian kabaddi all-rounder. Hadi was born on 29 June 1992 in the city of Gorgan, Iran. He is a versatile player who possesses immense attacking as well as defensive capabilities. He is an asset to Iran national team and was part of many successful campaigns.
International Career
He started showcasing his remarkable talents to the world by winning the bronze medal for the Men’s Kabaddi in 2010 Asian Beach Games held in Muscat. In 2014, he won the silver medal in Asian Games held in Incheon, South Korea. Later on, in the same year, this prodigy was the part of the gold-medal winning team for Men’s Kabaddi in the 2014 Patong Beach Games held in Phuket Island, Thailand. In 2018, Hadi became the part of the nation’s proud Iranian kabaddi team and secured a gold medal in the Asian Games for the first time in History of Kabaddi and Asian games. He was also the worthy member of the Iranian kabaddi squad, who was the runner up in the 2016 World Cup losing to India after a very exciting match which saw Ajay Thakur save India from the claws of defeat.
Hadi Oshtorak- Pro Kabaddi Career
Hadi started playing for the Pro Kabaddi League in the year 2015. He was brought by Telugu Titans for Rs 21.1 lakhs to play in season 2. This made him the highest-paid contracted player of the season. In season 3 of the Pro Kabaddi League, Hadi was bought by the Patna Pirates. He earned 18 tackle points in 10 matches played in that season which was below expectations, but Patna won the season. He continued to play for Patna pirates in season 4. He earned 12 tackle points in 7 matches played in season 4 due to his injury stricken season. In season 5 Pro Kabaddi League, Hadi was bought by U Mumba and he earned 20 tackle points in 16 matches. He continued to play for U Mumba in season 6 and earned 12 tackle points in 13 matches. He never failed to maintain notable game statistics even though his PKL seasons were always riddled with injuries. Overall Hadi earned 69 tackle points in 50 matches played with a total of 76 points till Season 7. He was bought by Patna Pirates and would be manning their corner in Season 7. He is known for his brave performances with injury, who can forget the bandage stricken Hadi tackling out opponents when his team needed him. His fighting spirit and passion for the game is unrivalled.

While the blocking player stands between the raider and the half-line and creates a barrier by putting his full body power onto the raider making him impossible to break out.
